The brief
Zoe's brief was to bring life to her soulless new build guest room and include pink. It needed to speak the same design language as the other rooms we designed but have its own personality too.
The solution
We designed this guest room to relate to Zôe's master bedroom by using the same brand of mural wallpaper, but is given its own identity by choosing a more abstract mural design in the same painterly style. Because Zoe had walk in storage elsewhere in her flat, we could afford to include freestanding storage with a beautiful fish scale pattern. We interpreted her brief for pink with a muted candy hue and used it around the window return to cast a warm glow. Zoe needed a mirror but had little floor space so we suggested a wall hung piece with handy shelf.
To bring life to this infrequently used room we suggested a cluster of air plant jellyfish installations that will survive if forgotten about.
A different coloured balloon light brought the fun factor.
Such a joy to work with you Zoe, thank you.
